Frequently asked questions

Can I try Teamscope before committing to a plan?

Sure! Our full-featured free trial is designed to give you the chance to evaluate if Teamscope is the right data collection tool for your project. For the first two weeks, you can build as many forms, invite unlimited team members and collect as much data as you need. After those two weeks, you may stay using Teamscope for free using the Open Research plan, upgrade or take your data with you.

What is a user?

A user is someone with a Teamscope user account (username/password) that accesses the platform to manage a project, build forms or simply collect data.

What is a project?

A project is a study that you build on Teamscope. A project has its own users and forms and it can be a clinical study, a monitoring and evaluation project or an agricultural development initiative.

Can I use Teamscope for complex forms with nested validation/calculations?

Yes. If you plan to use a medical algorithm or a form that uses complex calculations and branching logic you can reach out to our support team and we can evaluate what is the best way to convert it into a mobile format.

Which payment methods do you accept?

We accept payments through Paypal and wire transfers. If wish to use our Team or Enterprise plan after your free trial expires our support team will send you an invoice with payment instructions.

Is Teamscope secure and HIPAA and GCP compliant?

Yes, Teamscope is designed for sensitive and medical data collection. Our platform encrypts data storage and transmission. You may track all data creation and edits with our audit trail and control your peer's access with our permissions manager. Teamscope complies with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and HIPAA.

Where and how is the data hosted?

Your data is stored with AES-256 encryption in servers in Frankfurt, Germany by Amazon Web Service. AWS complies with ISO 27001 and ISO 9001. All data is backed up everyday for long-term retention. Teamscope employees do not have access to your data and only upon your request may we decrypt it.

What happens to my data after my study finishes?

After you stop paying for Teamscope, or your project finishes, your data will still be stored for 10 years. You may log back in at any moment during that period and export your data. You may cancel your subscription at any moment.

Can I get a refund?

Yes. If you want a refund you can contact us by email within 30 days and we'll be happy to refund you pro-rated. If for any reason, you’re unhappy with Teamscope, please let us know and we will do our best to make sure you have a delightful experience.

What is the difference between Teamscope and other data capture platforms?

1. No need to have your own servers nor any programming knowledge. You can get started in seconds.

2. Most Electronic Data Capture (EDC) solutions fail in settings with poor or bad internet. With Teamscope you can collect data offline and work seamlessly wherever you go.

3. We are the first validated EDC to give you data visualization and analytics. Without having to export your data you can answer mission critical questions, in real-time.

Trusted by leading researchers

“Using Teamscope has been a game changer for me. It has turned the difficult and stressful process of data collection in the field (and being paramedics - a challenging and often chaotic field at that) into a painless process.”

Aidan Baron

Paramedic Researcher

“I'm excited to be using Teamscope for data collection within the PRIDE Study. Teamscope makes Electronic patient-reported outcomes (ePRO) incredibly easy as an alternative to paper forms or email surveys.”

Marleen van Gelder, PhD

Assistant Professor

“With Teamscope’s platform and attentive and insightful support, we have been able to simplify and streamline both our data collection and analysis.”
